Oh Heck! This is just frustrating me now. I Googled this very statement as I wanted to research what it meant and basically there are hundred and more sites that state the glorious statement and that is all that is said on the matter and then they are all onto the next reason why I am great!
Rebounding helps manage body composition and improves muscle-to-fat ratio
I am a blogging rebounder by the way – not someone who uses a rebounder but an actual piece of exercise equipment stuck in a Yorkshire home with a chubby woman @blurtsmum and a house rabbit (more on them in other posts). I am trying to delve deeper into these glorious statements that are made about me and perhaps rewrite them into perhaps less flowery nonsense.
So here we go lets see if we can see if we can figure out what this actually means.
Manage body composition – so composition is often used as the placement or arrangement of visual elements or ingredients in a work of art. So imagine you and your body are a work of art this then would mean that you get to manage your own composition and place your body parts where they should classically be placed. I can only hope you aren’t a cubist as this could get messy!
Managing body composition means that you will if you use me or something like me in a regular way will start to notice your arse for example shifting back to where it should be! Now that is neat.
On to the second part of the statement – improves muscle fat ratio. Now this isn’t so vague I don’t think – you will lose fat and you will gain some muscle but the type of muscle your build will be sensible and not grossed out type muscle that could scare in-laws or give you a load of hassle carrying around or squeezing into clothes.
How can we remake the glorious statement to something more easily managed. Well I think we have to actually break it into two parts if we are to make it really pithy.
Rebounding can get your arse back to where it should be.
Rebounding gives you lovely pretty muscles not scary ones.
You can also read what I wrote on rebounding benefits when breaking down these commonly used statements I don’t think I was quite so snarky in the earlier ones. Not sure if this is going to be be my continued tone. I’ll have to see how the next ones go.
